Job Description
Central London Office, Hybrid role (50/50) \n £70,000 - £75,000 basic salary range, plus Bonus & Excellent Benefits (including subsidised travel)\n\nThis is an exciting time to join this high-profile business, as they embark on a planned range of growth and investment.\n \n You will be responsible for providing leadership, authority, and assurance over procurement policy, compliance, and governance. The role ensures that all procurement activity is fully compliant with the Procurement Act 2023 (PA23), associated secondary legislation and statutory guidance, mandated procurement requirements, and wider central government procurement policy.\n\nYou will be the focal point for procurement policy interpretation, horizon scanning, and compliance assurance, supporting the leadership team and providing confidence to senior leaders, auditors, and other bodies that procurement activity is compliant, transparent, and auditable.\n\nEssential Skills & Experience\n\nDegree or equivalent, or 5 years' experience in relevant subject matter expert role\nIn-depth knowledge of Procurement Act 2023 requirements and guidance.\nDemonstrable experience of leading compliant procurement in a public, government, or regulated sector.\nProven experience in procurement policy, compliance, governance, or assurance roles within a public or regulated sector.\nExperience of interpreting legislative and policy change and translating it into practical organisational guidance\nExperience of procurement systems supporting transparency, audit, and governance.\nStrong judgement, credibility, and senior stakeholder presence.Desirable Skills & Experience\n\nQualified, or working towards membership of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (MCIPS)\nProcure to pay and Finance systems experience (eg.
