Senior Procurement Specialist Enniskillen - Hybrid Working £35,560 - £36,783 per annum Full-time, Permanent Role Excellent Benefits Package About the Role An established public sector organisation is seeking to appoint an experienced Senior Procurement Specialist to support the delivery of a high-performing procurement function. Working closely with the Head of Procurement, this individual will oversee the end-to-end procurement process, ensuring legal compliance, driving value for money, and supporting strategic contract and supplier management. This is a key role in a highly collaborative team, suited to someone with experience in public procurement and a passion for driving best practice. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage procurement activities including eTenders, compliance, contract management, and policy enforcement. Act as a primary point of contact for internal stakeholders and external suppliers. Support delivery of the corporate procurement plan and ensure adherence to supplier KPIs. Undertake compliance audits and maintain accurate procurement records. Provide specialist advice and training to teams across the organisation. Support digital transformation projects related to procurement systems. The Ideal Candidate You will have: A degree (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline such as Procurement, Business, or Supply Chain. At least 3 years' experience in a public procurement role, including working with capital budgets over €10 million. A strong understanding of procurement legislation and best practices. Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to support and challenge at senior level. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and relevant procurement systems. A full driving licence or access to suitable transport. Desirable: CIPS membership or willingness to achieve this within two years.
