IntaPeople are working with an innovative tech company with offices just outside of Cardiff looking for a senior product designer to grow the team. The role offers an exciting opportunity to create new and enhance existing products for a technology that is becoming more and more essential to everyday users. If you’re a product designer with UX experience looking for the next step in your career this could be a great move for you. This role is hybrid with 3 days remote.

The role involves:

• Overseeing the entire product design process for enhancements and new features.
• You will collaborate with engineering, product, and design to take projects from start to finish and occasionally boosting current products.
• Identify and oversee extensive design projects from inception to launch.
• Arrange and carry out user research and promote user perspectives.
• Promoting a strong design culture within the team and fighting for excellence in the user experience.
• Collaborate closely with engineers and product managers to ensure enhanced design quality while bringing ideas to reality.
• Provide a clear, high-fidelity user interface (UI) for mobile platforms; define the design system, including colour schemes, iconography, tokens, and component designs; and support design best practices and the development of a robust, user-centred design culture.

Experience required:

• Over 5 years experience working with product design or UX (mobile app experience preferred)
• Figma and prototyping tools
• Proven experience delivering end-to-end user experience products
• Excellent communication skills
