Senior Product Development Assistant (MAT Cover) - Product Development
As Senior PDA you will provide essential administrative support to the PD Team and be responsible for the smooth running of the critical path, full product cycle and product sample management. You will play a key role in contributing towards creating the best possible product for our customers.
Liaising with an international supply chain and global sales teams you will develop product and raise purchase orders in line with the critical path to ensure on time delivery. You will be proactive in responding internally and externally to product information requests and maintain positive relationships throughout.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting the Senior PDs with developing product, contributing to building the range. Actively participating during the range selection process, to ensure the accurate capture of all information for internal records for the business.
- Leading all product development for Radley’s Licensing categories, being the main point of contact for product information, liaising between the license suppliers and our Licensing and Travel Manager.
- Track progress of product development stages, daily communication with our supply base ensuring deadlines are met, information delivered is accurate and up to date and reporting any issues or delays. Able to proactively problem solve with any issues.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of product details on Radley systems: Bombiix, BC, range plans and PIM, through the critical path up to launch, supporting the communication of key product information and launch activity through to ex-factory.
- Bulk production purchase order raising and management. • Understanding design specs to get the best possible pricing and product from suppliers in price negotiations.
- Meeting coordinator for the PD Team. Actively contribute to team meetings, engaging with senior PDs and the wider team. Proactively providing data and reports to support the PDs. Working with PDs on decision making, next steps and product review. • Comp shops and SWOT reports – understanding competitors’ assortment in the marketplace, key price points and key ranges.
- • Managing the sample management and ordering process for internal teams.
- Provide clear and effective support to both internal and external customers, addressing their needs and responding promptly.
Skills & Experience
- 2-3 years experience within a similar role.
- Meticulous attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
- Great time management skills, able to prioritize workload and communicate clearly on upcoming deadlines.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and works well under pressure.
- Flexible attitude and commitment to getting the job done. Proactive and able to anticipate the needs of the team.
- Communication: the ability to convey information clearly to internal and external stakeholders.
- Microsoft 365 experience (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint).
