Location: London (Hybrid – around 2 days a week in the office)

Salary: £50k to £65k, based on experience

Equity: Will be multiplied very rapidly if successful

The Role

We’re looking for a Senior Product Engineer with exceptional capabilities seeking to grow into a Senior Leadership Role. Someone who likes to punch above their weight and is excited by the idea of building the 1st ever learning tool with 100% active users.

·      Are you an AI expert? We’re looking for an AI expert who will find it exciting to obsess and innovate in the field of real-time augmentation.

·      Are you a builder at heart? You understand users, and love owning features end-to-end: from product thinking and technical design to shipping polished experiences

·      Are you strategic? You will work directly with Ben, CEO and founder on our startup’s #1 goal: taking off and unlocking that series A round.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Bring the company’s tech strategy and product vision to life.
• Lead and coordinate a small team of talented engineers.
• Adjust course based on 16-month worth of data and user feedback (and counting!)
• Build out our AI experiences — things like RAG pipelines, multimodal user experiences, and LLM-powered experiences that actually work in production.
• Embed Ignitus into the flow of work with low-complexity integrations
• Experiment with the latest models, tools, and APIs to stay ahead of the curve.
• Own Data and Security policy. Support the CEO / sales team during IT audits
• Keep the platform secure, stable, and scalable as we grow fast.

What You’ll Bring

• Experience leading technical projects or teams (startups or small teams are a big plus).
• Strong background in Python, FastAPI, or similar frameworks.
• Experience working with LLMs, vector databases, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG).
• Hands-on experience deploying AI systems in production.
• Experience in dealing with IT audits with prospects.
• A good grasp of cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
• A curiosity for how people learn and grow — and how tech can help with that.
