We’re looking for a technically strong Senior Product Manager to grow and evolve our API platform and developer experience, enabling partners and clients to integrate with our payments, FX, and financial services capabilities.Location: London Office – Hybrid: 4 days in the office, 1 day from home per week.What You’ll DoAPI Product ownershipOwn parts (or all) of the API platform and use-case roadmapDefine and evolve API endpoints, webhooks, error models, and data contractsEnsure APIs are consistent, versioned, and easy to integrate withTechnical collaborationWork with backend and frontend engineers on API design and best practicesDefine authentication/authorization flows, webhooks, retries and idempotencyParticipate in technical trade-offsDelivery & ExecutionTranslate business and partner needs into clear product requirementsDrive delivery from discovery through launch and iterationBalance short-term delivery with long-term platform scalabilityStakeholder managementPartner with Payments, FX, Compliance, Risk, and Operations teamsSupport Sales and Partnerships with API capabilities and use casesRepresent API consumers (internal and external)Developer ExperienceCollaborate with the DevEx team on documentation, onboarding, sandbox/testing environments, observability, error reportingIncorporate developer feedback to continuously improve the API experienceWhat Success Looks LikeNew API use cases launched and adopted by partnersReduced integration time for new API consumersClear, stable, well-documented APIs and developer guidesPositive developer feedback and reduced support frictionIncreased API coverage of Ebury’s servicesGrowth in number of API usersWhat You’ll Need3+ years of Product Management experience (L3)5+ years (L4) / 7+ years (L5)Strong experience with API-first or platform productsComfortable reading and discussing technical designs and trade-offsExperience defining APIs, webhooks, and integration patternsStrong communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholdersPreferred ExperienceFintech, payments, FX, or financial infrastructure experienceExperience with REST APIs (GraphQL a plus), OAuth 2.0, API keys, authentication models, event-driven systems and webhooksExperience working with external developers or partnersLevel-specific expectationsProduct Manager II (L3)Own well-defined API areas or featuresExecute against a clear roadmap with guidanceWrite strong product requirements and API specsLearn the domain and grow technical depthSenior Product Manager (L4)Own major API surfaces or end-to-end use casesDrive discovery and delivery independentlyMake trade-offs balancing customer needs and platform healthInfluence API standards and best practicesWhy Ebury?Competitive starting salary with an annual discretionary bonusDedicated mentorshipCutting-edge technology and toolsClear, accelerated career progressionDynamic & supportive cultureGenerous benefits package with location-appropriate health and social benefitsCentral London Office with excellent transport linksEEO and About UsWe believe in inclusion.
