Senior Product Manager, Currency Exchange (FX)

Visa is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Product Manager to help lead the development of our FX (currency exchange) product in Visa Direct Accounts and Wallets. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving product strategy, discovery, delivery, and adoption to enhance the value proposition of Visa's cross-border offering. This role requires a deep understanding of the FX market, customer needs, and the competitive landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Help the Product Director define and articulate the product vision and strategy for Visa Direct's FX product, aligning with overall business objectives.
  2. Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, customer needs, and competitive positioning in the FX space.
  3. Collaborate with engineering, operations, sales, and marketing teams to develop and launch innovative FX solutions and features.
  4. Provide deep FX expertise to engineering teams, assisting with design and mathematical examples to aid QA testing.
  5. Gather and prioritize product and customer needs.
  6. Analyze product performance and user feedback to drive continuous improvement.
  7. Serve as a point of contact for Visa Direct FX product-related inquiries, offering expertise and guidance to stakeholders.
  8. Create and maintain comprehensive product documentation, including business cases, roadmaps, user guides, and training materials.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Work experience within the financial services industry, specifically in risk management, treasury, or FX trading.
  2. Deep understanding of key FX concepts such as FX risk management, pricing, settlement, collateral, and margin management.
  3. Strong technical and data skills; proficiency in Python, SQL, and Tableau is advantageous.
  4. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with data-driven decision-making ability.
  6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
  7. Experience with product management tools like JIRA, Confluence, or similar.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Experience in risk management, cash management, operations, treasury, or FX trading in a product capacity.
  2. Relevant treasury and/or risk certifications are highly regarded.
  3. Effective communication and collaboration skills with a growth mindset.
