An established UK Wealth Manager is looking for an experienced and knowledgeable Product Development Manager to help shape the next generation of its Wealth Advice proposition. This will join the firm’s evolving Wealth Proposition team focused on strengthening existing products and advice offering while designing future services across wealth, tax, protection and investment advice.


In this role, you’ll combine strategic thinking, commercial insight and regulatory expertise to ensure the firm’s UK advice services deliver exceptional customer experiences.



Role & Responsibilities

The Advice Services Product Manager will play a key role in redefining how Wealth advice services are developed, maintained and assessed. The role contributes to product and service strategy, ensures robust oversight and governance, and will help deliver exceptional customer journeys across the Wealth offering.


  • Support senior management in the development and management of a range of Wealth advice services, including tax, protection, pensions, ISAs and asset management.
  • Lead comprehensive Product Reviews, Target Market Assessments and Fair Value Assessments in line with Consumer Duty expectations.
  • Track market, regulatory and competitor trends to inform innovation and proposition development.
  • Analyse service cost‑to‑serve and contribute to commercial and pricing decisions.
  • Inform the development of MI dashboards for advice services, building a data‑driven understanding of customer needs.
  • Own and optimise customer journeys across Wealth advice services, collaborating closely with client‑facing and operations teams.
  • Establish and maintain robust governance and oversight, in line with risk management and compliance frameworks.


Skills & Experience

  • Strong recent Product experience in developing and delivering advice services or financial planning products within the UK Wealth Management sector.
  • Good understanding of personal investor needs, wealth products and UK regulatory requirements (e.g., PROD, Consumer Duty, MiFID, SDR, COLL, IDD, AIFMD).
  • Proven ability to analyse data, create MI dashboards and present findings confidently.
  • Experience conducting Consumer Duty‑aligned assessments, such as Fair Value Assessments and Periodic Product Reviews.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and the ability to build trusted relationships at all levels.
  • Strong analytical abilities, communication skills and confidence presenting to senior audiences.
  • Organised, collaborative and comfortable working to tight deadlines.
  • Experience working with third‑party product or service providers is desirable.
