Summary Holistically manage an Online product management process from product planning and build, to launch and optimization - coordinating with stakeholders, UX and technology throughout that lifecycle. Act as the voice of the 'customer', translate needs into a product roadmap and backlog, constantly prioritize and manage the team's capacity to maximize customer and business value. Work with other Product Managers to collaborate on cross-product team dependencies. Develop strong working relationships with relevant business owners for M&S Business context and with Technology for retail-specific technology expertise. The Online portfolio encompasses Online Selling, Service, App, Personalisation and International. Your role will be aligned to one of these key areas. What you'll do
Define and drive product strategy by translating customer, market, and technology trends into clear visions, roadmaps, and compelling value propositions that deliver commercial and customer impact. Own end-to-end product delivery across technology, operations, and customer experience, managing dependencies, risks, prioritisation, UAT, and feature release outcomes. Build robust, insight-driven business cases and conduct complex strategic and analytical work to identify opportunities, risks, and measurable business benefits. Lead cross-functional stakeholders and delivery teams, facilitating ideation, influencing prioritisation, and making informed trade-offs to maximise value. Champion agile product practices, managing backlogs, user stories, and sprint planning while promoting continuous improvement and high-quality delivery.
Who you are
Extensive product management experience, delivering product strategies, roadmaps, and successful product launches with a strong focus on customer outcomes. Deep customer and domain understanding with strong technical capability, alongside excellent requirements gathering, competitive analysis, pricing, and financial planning skills. Proven experience leading product delivery in an Agile software environment to drive high-quality, customer-led outcomes. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence decisions, translate between technical and non-technical audiences, and act as a connector across teams. Experienced in people leadership, including line management and managing geographically distributed (nearshore and offshore) teams.
