Job Description: We are seeking a motivated individual to join our Manufacturing Team as a Senior Production Engineer. The Role: Responsible for producing CNC Programs for 4 & 5 axis machines, and Multi Axis Turn-Mills using Siemens NX & Vericut.
Responsible for producing CNC Grinding Programs for a variety of Grinding Machines.
Manage New Part Introduction for short lead time Prototype & Production Projects.
Create & define manufacturing routings & BOM using SAP ERP.
Design fixtures & tooling for NPI Projects. 6. Introduce new cutting technology to improve tool life & cycle time.
Assist with implementation of departmental training & progression.
Estimate production times and costs.
Identify ways to reduce cost within the manufacturing processes.
Consider the health and safety, environmental and energy impact of all activities.
Support the Companys compliance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018 by following company policy and best practice.
Candidate Profile: Proven experience with machining/programming complex components in the Automotive/Aerospace industry.
Experience of Siemens NX CAD/CAm system.
