Senior Programme and Bid ManagerEnfield, United Kingdom£65,000 - £70,000Responsible for leading the programme and bid management function, providing senior oversight of a portfolio of complex programmes and bids across the business.The role ensures effective governance, delivery, and commercial performance across all programmes and bids. It includes leadership of Programme Managers who manage bids from opportunity through to contract award and into delivery.Key Responsibilities - Senior Programme and Bid ManagerLead and develop a high-performing team of Programme and Bid ManagersOwn the health, governance, and performance of the programme and bid portfolioOversee bid strategy, execution, resourcing, and approval processesEnsure effective transition from bid phase into programme deliveryManage programme governance including cost, schedule, risk, and change controlBalance resources across live programmes and active bidsProvide regular reporting and updates to senior leadershipEnsure compliance with internal processes, customer requirements, and regulationsLead risk, issue, and opportunity management across all activitiesSupport budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance trackingDrive continuous improvement and lessons learned across the lifecycleSupport recruitment, succession planning, and team developmentProvide input and support to engineering and internal development projects when requiredLiaise with customers and subcontractors to support programme executionExperience & QualificationsBackground in project/programme management, ideally in defence or regulated industriesExperience managing bids and programmes from concept to deliveryHND or degree level qualification (or equivalent experience)JBRP1_UKTJ
