What we are recruiting for:

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager with experience in rail (Network Rail) telecoms and systems to join our Consulting team.

Roles & responsibilities:

• Determine project management, technical services, and external resources needed for the project.
• Collaborate with the project team and stakeholders to ensure successful delivery, communicating strategies effectively.
• Manage design/consultant teams and stakeholders to ensure responsibilities are met, including project scope, fees, claims, and variations.
• Utilize strong communication and negotiation skills to support client relationships and produce integrated project programmes.
• Ensure timely delivery from project inception through design, procurement, and construction, meeting milestones.
• Assist with sequencing, methodology, and staging plans.

Experience & background:

• Qualifications in project management or controls and reporting.
• Problem-solving and analytical skills for planning, estimating, and procurement issues.
• Interpersonal skills for report writing, negotiation, and stakeholder relationships.
• Experience working on rail systems and/or rail telecom projects for Network Rail is essential.
• Experience in a consulting organization is preferable.
