Senior Project Manager – Renewable Energy Delivery

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our renewable energy team in Glasgow. This role is crucial in supporting the development and delivery of high-quality renewable energy projects, from early planning through to construction and handover.

As part of this role, you will:

• Lead pre-construction and construction activities, including grid applications, engineering coordination, contract procurement and administration, and planning compliance.
• Support the resolution of project challenges, ensuring smooth delivery and adherence to technical, HSE, and quality standards.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, including regulators, local communities, and contractors.
• Gain exposure to the full project lifecycle, enhancing your expertise in both development and operational phases.

Key Skills & Experience

• Degree-level qualification in Project Management, Engineering, Planning, or equivalent.
• 8+ years experience in the renewable energy sector.
• Track record managing projects across the lifecycle of wind, solar PV, battery storage, or similar infrastructure projects.
• Experience with contract negotiation, administration, and performance management.
• Knowledge of grid connection processes and working with utility operators.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, including regulators and community engagement.
• Familiarity with project financial management, energy markets, and emerging technologies.
• Proficiency in technical software (e.g., AutoCAD, GIS, PVSyst) preferred.
• Strong understanding of UK consenting processes, HSE legislation, and quality assurance standards.
