SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER (Re-platforming / Fashion Tech)
About the role..
We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to support us over a 12-month contract, with the organisation and delivery of our Ecommerce and integration re-platforming projects. You will manage integrations, define technical specifications, and oversee project plans while mitigating risks.
Acting as Scrum Master, you will lead cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder communication, ensuring alignment across our Engineering, Trade, Marketing, and SEO teams. You will also need to build relationships with external partners and maintain thorough project documentation for seamless execution and successful delivery.
What you'll do..
- Collaborate effectively with both external partners and internal teams to establish integration needs, define technical specifications, and outline the project scope, including developing timelines and set clear deliverables.
- Drive and manage meetings, reports, and escalations, ensuring they are well-organized and contribute to the overall success of the project and its oversight.
- Oversee the project plan and promptly address any project-related issues, risks, or dependencies. Take steps to mitigate risks and prepare contingency plans to minimize any disruptions to the timeline.
- Act as the main point of contact for technical discussions, offering guidance and support to external partners throughout the integration process.
- Fulfill the role of Scrum Master, leading daily stand-ups, scrum sessions, retrospectives, and other collaboration sessions with cross-functional teams.
- Lead the Cross-Department project delivery group, ensuring alignment across Engineering, Trade, Marketing, and SEO teams.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and third-party counterparts, managing communications with stakeholders effectively.
- Keep thorough documentation of the project's status and deliverables.
What you'll bring..
- Experience working within the eCommerce Retail and Omnichannel sectors.
- Highly skilled in project management with a proven track record of handling multiple projects, including at least one eCommerce re-platforming project.
- Exceptionally confident in leading projects and managing delivery risks and budget.
- Software Engineering and/or QA skills and experience. You can collaborate effectively on Software Architecture and have managed at least one Event-Driven architecture project.
- Highly organized and able to demonstrate an ability to manage a variety of tasks simultaneously.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities, capable of clearly conveying complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
