Senior Project Manager - Major Infrastructure (Shafts & Headhouse)\n Location: NW London\n Salary: £90,000 - £100,000 + package\n Job Type: Permanent\n Department: Shafts & Headhouse\n Working Pattern: Minimum 4 days per week on site/offices\n\nTRIbuild Solutions are recruiting for a Senior Project Manager to join a major UK infrastructure programme delivering complex shafts and headhouse works across North West London. This is a key leadership role with clear progression into the Senior Leadership Team (Lead or Director level) for the right candidate.\n\nThis opportunity will suit an experienced civil engineering professional with strong heavy civils, underground structures, shafts, tunnelling or reinforced concrete structures experience looking to step into a strategic leadership position on a nationally significant infrastructure project.\n\nRole Overview\n\nAs Senior Project Manager, you will take responsibility for the delivery of major shaft and headhouse assets, managing multidisciplinary teams through the full construction lifecycle from pre-construction through delivery and final handover.\n\nThe role involves leading complex underground and structural works including shaft construction, underground connections, reinforced concrete structures and associated civils packages.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nLead the delivery of major shaft and headhouse infrastructure packages.\n\nManage Project Managers, engineers and subcontractors across multiple assets.\n\nDrive programme delivery from design coordination through construction and completion.\n\nEnsure high standards of health, safety and quality across all works.\n\nDevelop strong relationships with project stakeholders and internal teams.\n\nResolve complex engineering and construction challenges on large-scale infrastructure works.\n\nContribute to long-term project strategy and leadership development.\n\nCandidate Requirements\n\nProven experience delivering major civil engineering or infrastructure projects.\n\nStrong background in heavy civils, underground structures, shafts, tunnelling, or RC structures.\n\nExperience managing multidisciplinary teams and large construction packages.\n\nStrong stakeholder management and leadership capability.\n\nAble to operate within complex, high-profile infrastructure programmes.\n\nSalary & Benefits\n\nBase Salary: £90,000 - £100,000\n\nCar Allowance: Grade 6 - £6,850\n\nLondon Weighting Allowance: £2,500 (project-based, non-contractual)\n\nTravel Expenses Covered\n\nPension: Defined Contribution scheme (up to 10% company matched)\n\nPrivate Healthcare:\n\nSingle cover (50% subsidised first 2 years)\n\nFully subsidised thereafter\n\nHoliday: 25 days + Birthday leave\n\nCareer Progression\n\nThis role offers guaranteed progression into the Senior Leadership Team, with clear pathways into Lead or Director-level positions as the programme develops.\n\nApply now or contact Leon at TRIbuild Solutions for a confidential discussion
