Salary: £100k+ (DOE) + car/allowance, pension, subsistence

My client is seeking an experienced Senior Electrical/Substation Project Manager to support delivery of the Yorkshire Green programme, involving two new 400kV substations with a total project value of ~£160m. The business is transitioning from civils into the electrical phase and requires strong, electrically biased leadership on site.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead delivery of large-scale substation projects (132kV and above)
*
Manage programme, cost, quality, safety, and subcontractors through electrical phases
*
Interface with National Grid / DNO stakeholders and internal directors
*
Drive site-based execution as Murphy scales electrical delivery capability
Experience Required:
*
5+ years delivering HV substation projects (132kV–400kV)
*
Strong electrical bias (substations, primary plant, protection & control exposure)
*
National Grid project experience highly desirable
*
Proven leadership on complex, high-value infrastructure projects
*
Background as Senior PM; Project Director–level candidates also considered
Working Pattern & Package:

Site-based role (5 days/week, ~45 hours)

Vehicle or car allowance provided
*
Travel, hotels, and subsistence covered where required
*
Clear progression across a large, long-term framework pipeline (visibility to 2029)
