The \nO&M package are responsible for taking the project through the post-FID (Final Investment Decision) and readiness \nphases to ensure the project is fully prepared for operation.

This includes control of the Service and Maintenance \nAgreement (SMA), monitoring the OPEX model, ensuring that all O&M contracts are in place prior to O&M \nhandover, recruitment of the site team and developing processes, procedures and operational tools. \nThe Service and Maintenance Agreement (SMA) is a key contract for the operational phase of the offshore \nwindfarm. The main purpose of the Senior Project Manager role is to provide technical support during the \nnegotiation phase of the SMA with the wind turbine supplier, with a focus on the technical schedules.

This includes \norganisational tasks, drafting technical schedules, obtaining RFIs (Requests for Information) for an accurate OPEX \nforecast and development of the strategy for logistics.\nKey Tasks\n• Ensure that project requirements are developed with a strong emphasis on health, safety, quality and \nenvironmental compliance\n• Assist the Lead Project Manager SMA in the negotiation of the WTG SMA, focused on the technical\nrequirements\n• Assist the Lead Project Manager SMA in the organisation of negotiation meetings with the WTG Supplier, \nfollow up of actions, ensuring all milestones are met \n• Leading the updating and re-drafting of SMA technical schedules, including the identification of issues with \nhighest risk for IBD and/or items for escalation\n• Assist the Lead Project Manager SMA in obtaining RFIs (Requests for Information) to develop the OPEX \nestimations for FID\n• Develop the BoP contracting strategy, liaising with Purchasing and each project work package to ensure a \nrobust handover process to O&M\n• Supporting development of the overall project O&M strategy\n• Gather lessons learned from other operational projects and implement where appropriate to ensure \ncontinuous improvement within offshore operations and maintenance.\n• In addition to the tasks outline above the individual shall also be required to carry out typical project \nmanagement activities such as reporting, planning, risk management and resource management.\nKey Criteria\n• Essential\n- Organising their own workload, setting overall annual and project objectives in conjunction with the \nLead Project Manager SMA\n- Delivering timely updates to the technical schedules within the SMA and propose strategies for \ntechnical issues \n- Contributing to the final SMA contract, obtaining RFIs (Requests for Information) for OPEX \nforecasts and development of the strategy for logistics \nJob Description Template 2024\n2\n- Making recommendations to project's senior management team and provide regular documented \nupdates or attend meetings\n- Contributing to the following meetings:\n- Weekly meeting with O&M project team \n- Support SMA negotiation meetings with wind turbine manufacturer - where required\n- Must have sound knowledge of Offshore Wind Operations and Maintenance \n- Experience, knowledge and understanding negotiation of multimillion pound commercial contracts.\n- Highly developed communication skills and interpersonal, particularly related to multicultural \nrelationships, and ability to present effectively to management teams.\n- Strong understanding of H&S legislation applicable to offshore operations and electrical \ngeneration.\n- Experience of managing interfaces of multidisciplinary teams spread across multiple locations.\n- Ability to adapt quickly to a rapidly changing working environment and demonstrate a positive \napproach to change.\n- Advanced user of Microsoft office applications.\n- Organisation of meetings with minute-taking and follow up of actions.\n- Has a good understanding of an organisational set up within a project.\n- Basic understanding among the difference of corporate, construction and operations.\n• Desirable\n- Minimum five years offshore wind experience is preferred, alternatively significant experience in a \nrelevant discipline \n- Offshore wind experience is preferred, alternatively significant experience in a relevant discipline\n- NEBOSH/IOSH certificate or equivalent HSE qualification\nKey Interfaces\nThe job holder will need to maintain communication with the following groups / teams and internal stakeholders \nincluding:\nINTERNAL\n• Principal Project Manager O&M\n• O&M Asset Integrity team\n• O&M Commercial team\n• Health & Safety Manager\n• Offshore H | S | Q Business Office\n• Global Technical Services (GTS) team\n• Project packages (OSS, Foundations, Array Cables) as required\n• Site Manager(s) and Construction Manager(s)\n• Operations staff\nCertifications to Be Maintained for the Duration of the Role\n?
