Senior Project Manager Location: Bristol Sector: Specialist Contractor – Industrial Construction Salary: £60,000 – £75,000 DOE (6 Month FTC) The Opportunity A unique opportunity for a Senior Project Manager to join a specialist contractor on a 6-month fixed-term contract, supporting the business through a major internal systems transformation. This is not a traditional project delivery role — instead, you’ll play a key part in maintaining operational continuity across the business while internal teams undergo training and transition onto new IT systems. You’ll step into live operational roles, ensuring projects and processes continue to run smoothly. This role would suit an experienced Project Manager who is adaptable, commercially aware and comfortable working across multiple areas of a construction business. Role Overview You will be responsible for: * Supporting operational teams during a business-wide IT systems transition. * Stepping into live project roles to maintain continuity. * Overseeing project delivery where required across multiple workstreams. * Working closely with commercial, operational and delivery teams. * Ensuring programme, quality and commercial performance is maintained. * Supporting internal teams as they transition into new systems. * Identifying risks and ensuring minimal disruption to live projects. * Acting as a key link between teams during the transition period. About You * Experience as a Senior Project Manager within construction. * Strong understanding of operational project delivery. * Comfortable stepping into different roles across a business. * Commercially aware with strong problem-solving ability. * Adaptable and confident working in a fast-paced environment. * Strong communicator with the ability to work across multiple teams.
