We are working with a leading Tier 1 contractor seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to deliver complex construction and refurbishment schemes within live prison environments. This role requires a confident leader with a deep understanding of working in custodial settings, capable of managing projects £20m+ from pre-construction through to completion while maintaining the highest standards of safety, compliance, and operational integrity.
You will play a critical role in ensuring works are delivered without disruption to prison operations, navigating strict security protocols, access limitations, and the unique behavioural and logistical challenges associated with live environments.
Key Responsibilities
End-to-end project leadership from pre-construction through to handover Delivery of construction and refurbishment works within live prison environments, ensuring zero disruption to ongoing operations Full responsibility for programme management, risk mitigation, and successful project outcomes Commercial leadership across projects valued at £20m+ Acting as the main point of contact for the client and key stakeholders Managing strict security protocols, access constraints, and compliance within a highly controlled environment Leading project teams by example, driving high standards across safety, quality, and delivery Ensuring all works are carried out in line with regulatory, security, and operational requirement...
