Salary: £58,025 £63,300 per annum (Depending on Experience)

Hours: Full-time (37.5 hrs) or Part-time options available

Shift Pattern: MonFri (08:0016:00 or 09:0017:00)

The Role: Clinical Excellence & Leadership

As a Senior Psychologist, you will be the clinical backbone of our psychological therapies, responsible for:

  • Specialist Assessments: Interpreting complex data to provide high-level psychological assessments for patients.
  • Supervision & Training: Mentoring healthcare and prison staff in trauma-informed care and overseeing doctoral-level training placements.
  • Service Development: Contributing to regional and national policy, driving the evolution of our mental health service.
  • Complex Interventions: Delivering evidence-based therapies (CBT, DBT, CAT, Schema, etc.) to forensic populations with high-risk behaviors.

What Were Looking For

  • Qualified & Registered: HCPC Registered Practitioner Psychologist (Clinical, Counselling, or Forensic).
  • Forensic Expertise: Proven experience working with forensic populations and severe mental health difficulties.
  • Therapeutic Depth: Training in specific modalities such as CBT, Systemic, DBT, or Mentalisation.
  • Drive: A compassionate professional who acts with integrity and thrives in a secure, ever-changing environment.
