Senior Quality Engineer

Cornwall £55,000 – £60,000 + 10% Bonus + Relocation Support

A leading manufacturing company based in Cornwall is currently looking to appoint a Senior Quality Engineer to strengthen their growing Quality Engineering team. Following a period of significant investment and continued company growth, the business is expanding its technical capability to support increasing production and maintain the highest standards of quality across its operations.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Quality Engineer who enjoys a hands-on role within inspection and testing, while also acting as a technical point of contact for quality-related queries across the site.

Key Responsibilities:

* Carry out hands-on inspection and testing activities to ensure products meet quality and regulatory standards

* Provide technical support and guidance on quality-related issues across the manufacturing site

* Investigate non-conformances and quality issues, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions

* Work closely with engineering, production and supply chain teams to improve quality performance

* Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and manufacturing processes

* Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with relevant quality standards and procedures

About You:

* Proven experience in a Quality Engineering role within a manufacturing environment

* Strong experience with inspection and testing processes

* Ability to act as a technical lead or key point of contact for quality issues

* Experience with root cause analysis and problem-solving methodologies

* Strong communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally with different teams
