Senior Quantity Surveyor (SQS) - Power Project | Suffolk ⚡️

We're currently seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor (SQS) to join a major power infrastructure project in Suffolk. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a Tier 1 civil engineering contractor, taking a leading role in the delivery of key earthworks packages on a high-profile scheme.

Location: Suffolk

Focus: Earthworks Packages
Rate: Up to £450 per day (CIS)

The Role

As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will take ownership of the commercial management of earthworks packages from procurement through to final account. You'll work closely with project and site teams to ensure commercial performance and project success.

Key Responsibilities

Commercial management of earthworks packages from procurement to final account
Subcontractor management and cost control
Preparation of valuations, variations, and financial reporting
Collaboration with project and site teams to drive performance and efficiency

✅ Requirements

Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor on large-scale civil engineering or infrastructure projects
Strong background in earthworks
Experience working with Tier 1 contractors
Solid commercial awareness and contractual knowledgeThis is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a major infrastructure project with strong long-term prospects.
