Senior Quantity Surveyor / Employer's Agent South ManchesterWe are looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor / Employer's Agent on behalf of an established consultancy based in South Manchester. This is an excellent opportunity to join a specialist practice delivering mainly residential schemes, working directly with housing associations and developers across the North West and Yorkshire. You will take a lead role across multiple Design & Build residential projects, acting as Employer's Agent and overseeing multiple schemes.Projects include:New build housing developmentsRefurbishment schemesHousing association projectsYou'll be running your own projects, liaising directly with clients, and ensuring successful delivery across programme, cost, and quality.Key Responsibilities:Acting as Employer's Agent on Design & Build residential schemesManaging projects from pre-contract through to completionAdministering contracts and issuing instructionsMonitoring programme, risk, and performanceLeading client meetings and stakeholder coordinationOverseeing cost control, valuations, and variations About You:5+ years' experience as a Quantity Surveyor, and proven track record acting as Employer's AgentStrong experience working on housing / residential projectsConfident running projects independentlyExperience with Design & Build contractsMRICS (or working towards)Candidates from a Building Surveying background with strong Employer's Agent experience will also be considered. Join an independent consultancy with a strong reputation in housing and residential delivery. You'll work alongside a hands-on leadership team in a collaborative environment, with a consistent pipeline of work from both new and repeat clients.
