Senior MEP Quantity Surveyor

South West

Role Overview

Senior M&E Quantity Surveyor or / Managing QS required to lead the commercial management of multiple MEP projects across the South Wes region. This Senior M&E Quantity Surveyor will ensure strong financial performance, effective risk management, and compliance with company procedures while supporting and developing the commercial team.

Happy to consider those who may not come from an MEP background bust have ran lasrge MEP packages

Key Responsibilities

* Oversee commercial performance and financial delivery of MEP projects

* Manage monthly reporting (CVR) and project performance data

* Support pre-construction activities including bids, pricing, and risk analysis

* Lead risk management and develop mitigation strategies

* Manage and mentor commercial team members and junior surveyors

* Negotiate contracts and subcontract terms

* Work closely with operational teams to ensure project success

* Support subcontractor performance and commercial administration

* Contribute to dispute avoidance and resolution

Requirements

* Proven experience in MEP Quantity Surveying

* Strong knowledge of construction, MEP services, and forms of contracts

* Experience managing multiple projects and commercial teams

* Strong financial reporting and forecasting skills

* Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management abilities

* Proficient in Microsoft Office and cost reporting systems

* Strong communication and problem-solving skills

* Professional membership (e.g. RICS) desirable

* Flexible approach with willingness to travel
