Description\n\nAs a Senior Quantity Surveyor/Quantity Surveyor, you will support the Commercial Manager; helping to drive efficiencies; managing costs and regional performance for our clients. This role will see you take control of all financial aspects of the project; overseeing all commercial & contractual matters. You will deliver desired margin return utilising high standards of commercial acumen.

Whilst identifying, recording and tracking, both risks and opportunities.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nManage and monitor project costs including weekly P&L reporting\n\nReview contract documents and advise on any issues\n\nTrack the progress and cash flow forecast information\n\nProduce and review commercial forecasts, Cost Value Reconciliation (CVRs) and Project Finance Reports\n\nTake responsibility for Subcontract Management; including Subcontract Forecasting, raising Subcontractor Orders and Negotiating Subcontract terms\n\nPrepare subcontract documents, enquiries and assessment of quotations\n\nPlace subcontract orders, agreement and certification of subcontract valuations, invoice, subcontract payments and final account agreements\n\nBe responsible for the management of the change control process, risk and value management\n\nManage and track project changes, variations and/or notices\n\nAssess and value variations and compensation events\n\nPrepare and submit interim valuations and payment applications to clients, along with the agreement of final accounts\n\nAttend risk review, progress and commercial meetings on-site with the Client\n\nBe actively involved with tenders and pricing\n\nAssist Credit Control with cash recovery and forecasting\n\nSupport the operational team in daily commercial and contractual aspects\n\nExperience and Qualifications\n\nDegree qualification (RICS accredited or equivalent) is desirable but not essential\n\nIdeally you will have experience working in the Utilities industry \n\nSound knowledge of contracts – NEC \n\nAbility to prioritise workload, multi-task and work under tight time pressures\n\nExcellent communication skills \n\nHigh attention to detail \n\nLogical mind \n\nSalary and Benefits\n\nWe offer a competitive salary based on experience along with a full benefits package.\n\nNetwork Plus is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
