Job Title: Senior Quantity Surveyor\n Location: Central London\n Project: £60m Mixed-Use Development\n Salary: Competitive + Package\n\nPSR Solutions are proud to be partnering with a leading Tier 1 main contractor to recruit an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor for a landmark £60m mixed-use development in the heart of London.\n\nThis is a fantastic opportunity to join a highly respected contractor with a strong pipeline of secured work across London and the South East. The business is known for delivering high-quality, complex schemes across residential, commercial, and mixed-use sectors, with a strong emphasis on collaboration, innovation, and career progression.\n\nThe Project\n\nA prestigious £60m mixed-use development comprising high-spec residential units, commercial space, and associated infrastructure, situated in a prime Central London location. The scheme is currently in the early stages of construction, providing the successful candidate with the opportunity to take commercial ownership and lead the project through to final account.\n\nThe Role\n\nAs Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in the commercial leadership of the project, taking responsibility for the financial management and performance of the scheme.

Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you will lead the day-to-day commercial activities, manage key subcontract packages, and provide support and guidance to junior members of the commercial team.\n\nYou will work closely with the project delivery team, supply chain, and client representatives to ensure the project is delivered successfully from a commercial and contractual perspective.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nTaking commercial responsibility for the project and supporting the Commercial Manager in delivering commercial strategy\n\nLeading subcontract procurement from tender through to negotiation and award\n\nPreparing, reviewing, and issuing subcontract documentation\n\nManaging major work packages including valuations, variations, and subcontractor accounts\n\nOverseeing project cost control, forecasting, and reporting\n\nLeading the preparation and presentation of monthly CVRs and financial reports\n\nIdentifying and managing commercial risks and opportunities\n\nEnsuring contractual compliance and effective administration of JCT contracts\n\nManaging client and consultant commercial interfaces where required\n\nSupporting and mentoring junior commercial team members including Quantity Surveyors and Assistant Quantity Surveyors\n\nLeading and concluding final account negotiations with subcontractors and contributing to client final accounts\n\nRequirements\n\nProven experience working as a Senior Quantity Surveyor or an experienced Quantity Surveyor ready to step up within a main contractor environment\n\nStrong experience delivering large-scale construction projects (ideally £40m+)\n\nExperience on mixed-use, residential, or commercial developments\n\nStrong knowledge and practical application of JCT forms of contract\n\nDegree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline\n\nExcellent commercial awareness and negotiation skills\n\nStrong leadership and mentoring abilities\n\nExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills\n\nWhat's on Offer\n\nCompetitive salary and comprehensive benefits package\n\nClear progression opportunities within a growing Tier 1 contractor\n\nThe opportunity to play a leading commercial role on a high-profile Central London development\n\nA supportive and collaborative working environment with a strong commercial team\n\nIf you are a Senior Quantity Surveyor looking to take ownership of a flagship London project with a leading contractor, we would love to hear from you.\n\nTo apply or for a confidential discussion, please contact PSR Solutions today
