Job Description

I am pleased to present an excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a well established and growing residential developer based in Kent. The business specialises in high volume house building, delivering large scale, multi phase projects and are looking for a commercially minded individual to add to their supportive and collaborative team to help oversee developments local to the office location.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare, manage and update project budgets

Monitor build costs against budget and forecast final costs

Identify cost risks and opportunities early

Prepare tender documents and specifications

Obtain, review and negotiate subcontractor quotations

Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with contract terms

Assess completed works on site

Risk management - ensure compliance with company procedures and legal standards

Prepare and agree final accounts with subcontractors

The ideal candidate will live within 30 miles of the head office in Kent. COINS experience is essential.
