We are now looking for Quantity Surveyor to strengthen our Commercial function and support the successful delivery cost management and quality across our projects.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the full commercial management of high-rise and complex construction projects from pre-construction through to final account.
Take ownership of project budgets, forecasts, cash flow, and commercial reporting, ensuring accuracy and strong financial control.
Procure, negotiate, and manage major subcontract packages, driving best value and robust contractual outcomes.
Lead change control, variations, claims, and final account negotiations with clients and supply chain partners.
Provide commercial leadership to site and project teams, supporting delivery strategy and risk mitigation.
Identify and implement value engineering and cost optimisation opportunities.
Mentor, coach, and develop Quantity Surveyors and Assistant QSs, supporting succession and capability building.
Ensure compliance with contractual, legal, and company commercial governance standards.
Contribute to pre-construction, procurement strategy, and commercial planning across projects.
Requirements
Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or equivalent.
Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor within a main contractor environment , ideally delivering high-rise residential or mixed-use developments .
Strong leadership capability with experience managing teams and complex commercial packages.
Excellent understanding of construction contracts, commercial risk management, and procurement strategy.
Confident managing client relationships, negotiations, and senior stakeholder engagement.
Highly organised, commercially astute, and capable of operating in fast-paced site environments.
