Managing Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor level professionals with a exstensive NEC contract knowledge required to work on a major infrastructure programme in West London.
These roles will see you work on for an internationally recognised organisaion who specialise on working on flagship programmes. This leading brand are happy to consider candidates on either a permanent or contract basis.
The role offers an exciting opportunity to manage procurement, contract negotiations, and post-contract commercial management on a major infrastrucrure programme.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage strategic sourcing activities for large value, complex projects
Administer a robust commercial management process to maximise contract benefits while promoting safety and collaboration with the supply chain and stakeholders
Engage with the external market on procurement/commercial matters, including new commercial models and market shifts
Take responsibility for supplier management, claims management, benefits, savings, and continuous improvement targets
Work with stakeholders and project managers to ensure best practice and drive supplier performance
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, adopting the most commercially sensible approach
Collaborate with project controls and estimating teams to ensure a comprehensive understanding and reporting of the commercial position
Remain flexible to undertake any other duties as required by the procurement function
Job Requirements:
Professional qualifications such as MRICS, APM, CEng, or CIPS, or equivalent capability
Experience in Construction and/or Professional Services within a commercial role
Experience in various Procurement and Contracting models, including NEC
Experience working in a large infrastructure programme with project managers, planners, risk managers, and project controls
Demonstrable experience in working within integrated project teams involving supplier partnering organisations
