As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be a key commercial lead within a multidisciplinary project team, supporting both operational delivery and senior management. This role provides a platform to develop existing commercial skills while broadening your experience across a varied portfolio of civil engineering and infrastructure projects. Working for a Tier 1 delivery contractor, a contractor known for delivering technically complex schemes ranging from £200k to £10m+, you will be instrumental in driving financial performance, managing risk, and ensuring robust commercial governance.
Key Responsibilities Commercial Leadership Produce accurate and timely cost/value reconciliations, forecasts, and monthly commercial reports. Manage the full commercial lifecycle from procurement through to final account. Oversee subcontract procurement, negotiation, and payment schedules. Prepare and submit applications for payment, ensuring alignment with contractual entitlements. Support internal cash flow projections and monitor actuals against forecasted spend and revenue. Provide clear and concise commercial advice to project teams, identifying risks, opportunities, and value engineering options.
