Job Title: Senior Quantity Surveyor (x3)

Location: Suffolk, UK

Contract Type: Contract (Minimum 12 months, 3-year project scope)

Start Date: Immediate

Working Pattern: 4 days on-site, 1 day remote


Project Overview

We are seeking three experienced Senior Quantity Surveyors to support a major 400kV National Grid infrastructure scheme in Suffolk. This is a long-term opportunity on a high-profile project with excellent on-site facilities and nearby accommodation available.


Key Responsibilities

  • Commercial management of works on a 400kV National Grid scheme
  • Administration and management of NEC contracts (Options C and E)
  • Cost forecasting, reporting, and value management
  • Assessment and management of variations and change control
  • Subcontractor procurement and management
  • Risk and opportunity management
  • Supporting project delivery teams to ensure commercial success

  • Requirements

    • Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor on major infrastructure or energy projects
    • Strong working knowledge of NEC contracts, particularly Options C and E
    • Experience working on National Grid or similar high-voltage projects (desirable)
    • Excellent commercial and contractual awareness
    • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
