Senior Quantity Surveyor

Location: Fishergate, PR1 8RE

Contract Duration: 3+ Months

Working Hours: Mon – Fri, 09:00 – 17:00, 37 Hours per week

Pay Rate: £25.79 Per Hour

Job Responsibilities

Manage and oversee all aspects of cost management for construction projects.

Prepare and analyze project budgets and estimates.

Conduct cost analysis and financial forecasts.

Negotiate contracts and agreements with contractors and suppliers.

Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory standards.

Monitor project progress and report on financial performance.

Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders.

Person Specifications

Must Have:

Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor.

Strong understanding of construction processes and standards.

Excellent numerical and analytical skills.

Strong negotiation and communication skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Eligibility to work in the UK.

Valid driving licence.

Nice to Have:

Experience working with local government or public sector projects.

Familiarity with project management software.

Membership in a relevant professional body.
