Senior Quantity Surveyor Civil Engineering / Infrastructure
Location: Lancaster (Hybrid working available)
Salary: £60,000 £75,000 + excellent benefits

One Construction Group is proud to be partnering with a leading Civil Engineering Contractor. Their Civil Engineering Division continues to deliver some of the North Wests most impactful infrastructure projects from bridges and water schemes to public realm improvements and complex civil engineering works.

As the business continues to expand, were seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join the team and take commercial lead on major infrastructure projects across the region.

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially astute, proactive Quantity Surveyor to work within a collaborative, well-established contractor that values integrity, quality, and long-term relationships.

The Role:
Youll play a key part in managing the commercial and contractual performance of multiple civil engineering schemes, working under the NEC suite of contracts. Youll work closely with the operations and estimating teams to ensure successful project delivery and strong financial outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all commercial aspects of civil engineering and infrastructure projects from start to completion.
• Administer and manage NEC contracts effectively, including change control, valuations, and final accounts.
• Lead cost forecasting, reporting, and risk management across multiple live projects.
• Liaise closely with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to maintain strong commercial relationships.

About You:

• Experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor within civil engineering or infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of NEC contracts and commercial processes.
• Background in bridges, water, public realm, or general civils projects will be considered
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
