Role Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor for a full-time, on-site role based in Potton. The Senior Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for managing costs throughout the project lifecycle, preparing Bills of Quantities (BOQ), and ensuring project budgets are adhered to. Key responsibilities include cost analysis, cost planning, preparing financial reports, monitoring project expenditures, and liaising with clients, contractors, and other professionals to ensure smooth project execution.

Qualifications

• Expertise in Cost Management, including cost planning, cost control, and cost reporting
• Proficiency in preparing and managing Bills of Quantities (BOQ)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills related to cost analysis and financial forecasts
• Good communication and negotiation skills with experience dealing with clients, contractors, and project teams
• A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field
• Membership of a professional body such as RICS or relevant qualifications is preferred
• Proficient in construction-related software and tools
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work under tight deadlines

Salary: TBC experience related.
