Senior Quantity Surveyor – Civils & Infrastructure (North West)\n\nThe Company\nA growing main contractor delivering complex projects across industrial, commercial, retail, logistics, and infrastructure sectors. Over the last decade they’ve built a strong reputation for delivering major schemes up to around £80m, combining modern construction methods with a collaborative, forward-thinking culture.\nFollowing a series of project wins in the North West, they’re expanding their commercial team and are looking for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to take a lead role on upcoming work.\n\nThe Role\nYou’ll oversee the commercial delivery of a civils-heavy project in the North West, taking responsibility from early procurement through to final account. The scope involves groundworks, utilities, drainage, external works and enabling activities, so strong civils/infrastructure experience is essential.\n\nKey responsibilities include:\n\n * \n\n Leading cost management and reporting on major civils packages\n\n * \n\n Managing procurement, tendering and subcontract negotiations\n\n * \n\n Producing accurate forecasting, CVRs and commercial reports\n\n * \n\n Working closely with delivery teams to support cost, quality and programme targets\n\n * \n\n Client liaison and contract administration (NEC experience preferred)\n\n * \n\n Supporting and mentoring junior commercial staff\n\nThis suits someone who wants autonomy, early involvement and the opportunity to influence commercial strategy on technically challenging schemes.
