Im working with a leading main contractor who is looking to appoint aSenior Quantity Surveyorto join their growing London team, based out of their Blackfriars office.ThisSenior Quantity Surveyorrole has come about due to a strong pipeline of secured work across residential, commercial and healthcare projects. The successfulSenior Quantity Surveyorwill take ownership of key packages and play a key role in the commercial delivery of projects.This is a good opportunity for aSenior Quantity Surveyorwho wants to be involved in major London schemes while working within a well-structured commercial team.Duties:Take commercial ownership asSenior Quantity Surveyoron live projectsManage subcontractor packages from procurement through to final accountPrepare and manage valuations, variations and final accountsProduce forecasts, CVRs and cost reportsWork closely with Project Managers and site teamsSupport and mentor junior commercial staffContribute to value engineering and commercial strategyRequirements:Experience working as aSenior Quantity Surveyoror strong Quantity Surveyor stepping upBackground with a main contractor or large subcontractorExperience delivering residential, commercial or healthcare projectsStrong understanding of subcontractor management and final accountsConfident working on live projects and engaging with site teamsGood commercial awareness and reporting experienceThisSenior Quantity Surveyorrole would suit someone looking to take on more responsibility within a busy contractor that has a strong pipeline of work across London.JBRP1_UKTJ
