Role: Freelance Senior Quantity Surveyor Location: East London Residential Scheme Day Rate £400 - £500 per day (Ltd Company) DOE Duration: 6 Months Immediate Interview & Start I’m working with a well-regarded procurement consultancy that is delivering commercial support for a major London housing developer. They are looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a flagship new build residential scheme in East London. This is a commercially critical freelance role, giving ownership of subcontract packages and the chance to work closely with the main contractor and delivery team. Key Responsibilities: * Take full commercial ownership of multiple subcontract packages * Lead procurement and contract management from tender to award * Manage valuations, variations, and final accounts * Ensure robust cost control and accurate reporting * Act as a key commercial interface between the consultancy and main contractor Candidate Profile: * Experienced Senior QS on new build residential schemes * Strong procurement and contract management background * Commercially sharp, proactive, and delivery-focused * Confident working alongside main contractors on live sites * Available on a freelance / Ltd Company basis The Offer: * Day rate: £400 - £500 (Ltd) DOE * Immediate start on a high-profile London scheme * Opportunity to take real commercial ownership and influence project delivery This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior QS who wants hands-on commercial responsibility on a live, high-value London project
