Senior Quantity Surveyor - Wetherby

You'll work directly with directors, estimators, site teams and the supply chain, taking full commercial ownership of several live projects from pre-contract through to final account.

The Role
As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will take responsibility for the commercial performance of multiple projects and act as a key commercial lead within the business.
You will:

Lead the commercial management of several projects simultaneously
Be heavily involved in pre-construction, procurement and contract setup
Produce and manage CVRs, cashflow forecasts, valuations and final accounts
Work closely with estimating teams during tenders
Deliver accurate monthly commercial reporting
Drive best practice and continuous improvement
Line manage and develop an Assistant Quantity Surveyor
This role offers real autonomy, genuine influence and direct access to the leadership team.
Key Responsibilities

Attending scope, pre-start and client meetings
Liaising with clients, consultants and internal teams
Preparing subcontractor enquiries and undertaking cost comparisons
Procuring and placing subcontractor packages
Managing subcontractor valuations and payments
Producing budgets, bills of quantities and cost plans
Managing client valuations, variations and final accounts
Cashflow forecasting and CVR setup and management
Running multiple projects concurrently
About You

Minimum 5 years' experience as a Quantity Surveyor with a main or principal contractor
Strong track record managing CVRs, procurement and cashflow
Commercially astute with solid contractual knowledge
Confident communicator with a practical, solutions-led approach
Comfortable working in a hands-on SME environment
