Location: Beckton, East London (Flexible Hybrid)

Join a leading UK infrastructure and water-sector delivery partner within their Commercial team. Reporting to the Managing Quantity Surveyor, you’ll play a key role in major projects while leading commercial management, cost control, and contractual oversight across assigned works.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage quantity surveying duties across projects and work packages.
* Liaise with design, construction, and supply chain teams to capture, analyse, and manage costs.
* Work collaboratively with the client to ensure commercial and project requirements are met.
* Oversee the main contract, ensuring all contractual notices and correspondence are identified and issued correctly.
* Prepare and issue subcontract documentation.
* Support in managing and monitoring subcontractor performance.
* Prepare and agree applications for payment.
* Produce accurate project cost and value reports, budgets, and financial forecasts.
* Assist in developing and mentoring junior commercial team members.
* Maintain continuous professional development through industry networking and awareness of sector innovation.
* Foster a positive, solution-focused working environment and provide constructive feedback.
* Carry out additional duties as reasonably required and consistent with the seniority of the post.
* Present a professional and positive image in all internal and external interactions.
What We’re Looking For
* Experience in a Senior Quantity Surveyor or Quantity Surveyor role within construction, infrastructure, water, or similar sectors.
* Strong understanding of contract management and commercial processes.
* Ability to analyse data, manage costs, and deliver accurate reporting.
* Confident communicator with excellent stakeholder and supply-chain management skills.
* Proactive, collaborative, and committed to continuous improvement.
