This Senior Quantity Surveyor role offers you the chance to lead commercially from site, working closely with the Project Manager and operational team to drive cost control, programme performance, and project profitability. As the Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be the key commercial decision-maker, ensuring financial success across the full project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will:

Act as the #1 Senior Quantity Surveyor on a £20m–£40m residential build in Salford

Manage subcontract procurement, tender analysis, and contract negotiations

Oversee valuations, variations, cost reporting, and final accounts

Produce accurate CVRs and financial forecasts

Identify commercial risks and implement mitigation strategies

Work closely with site teams to ensure cost efficiency and programme alignment

This Senior Quantity Surveyor position requires strong residential construction experience, a proactive approach to commercial management, and the confidence to operate independently as the lead Surveyor on site.
