The Opportunity


We are currently working with a well-established and growing civil engineering contractor who are continuing to expand their footprint across the South West, with a strong pipeline of secured work across the region.


They are now looking to appoint a Senior Quantity Surveyor to play a key role in the commercial delivery of a major, high-value infrastructure project in Bridgwater and Bristol.

The Role

As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will take ownership of key commercial elements on a major infrastructure scheme, working closely with operational teams and senior stakeholders.


Responsibilities will include:

  • Full commercial management of project packages
  • Cost reporting, forecasting and financial control
  • Subcontractor procurement and account management
  • Management of variations and change control
  • Supporting project delivery and ensuring commercial performance
  • Building strong working relationships with site teams and clients

About You

  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor
  • Background within civil engineering or infrastructure projects
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to manage packages independently
  • Comfortable working on site within a fast-paced, delivery-focused environment
  • Ambitious and motivated to progress within a growing business
