Freelance Senior Quantity Surveyor – Commercial Fit Out (Cat A to Cat B) City of London

Kenna Recruitment is currently working with a leading Tier 1 contractor to source a Freelance Senior Quantity Surveyor for a high-profile commercial fit out project in the City of London.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a flagship £30m Cat A to Cat B fit out for a blue-chip international banking client, delivering a premium, high-spec workspace, front of house areas, break out rooms, high end board room built with high quality finishes and leading built in technology.

The Role

Reporting into an experienced Commercial Manager, you will play a key role in the commercial delivery of the project from pre-construction through to final account.

Key responsibilities include:

* Managing packages from procurement through to final account

* Subcontractor procurement, negotiation, and appointment

* Cost reporting and forecasting

* Valuations, variations, and change control

* Supporting the Commercial Manager with overall project financial performance

* Ensuring compliance with contract terms and risk management

Requirements

* Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor on commercial fit out projects for London based Fit Out main contactor

* Strong understanding of Cat A & Cat B office fit outs

* Experience working under JCT contracts

* Ability to manage packages independently

* Previous experience on high-value London projects preferred

* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
