Contract Scotland are working closely with an established main contractor based in Central Scotland to source a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their established commercial team. As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for (but not limited to): - Advising and liaising with operational management on contract and commercial matters - Advising on all commercial reports; assuring valuations are maximised and paid on time - Reporting on monthly costs, maintaining accurate financial records, and preparing cost forecasts - Ensuring quotations are evaluated carefully and comply with project specifications - Successfully managing sub-contractor accounts - Supporting junior members of the commercial team

To be considered for this role, you will: - Be degree qualified in Quantity Surveying - Have demonstrable commercial experience within a main contracting environment - Have experience managing the commercial aspects of projects £10m+ in value
