I’m working exclusively with a well-established and rapidly growing construction consultancy based in Gloucestershire, looking to appoint an experienced and driven Senior Quantity Surveyor. The Role

As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you’ll play a central role in delivering outstanding cost consultancy services to clients, with a focus on service excellence and achieving positive project outcomes.


You’ll be responsible for the full range of pre- and post-contract duties, including:

  • Cost planning and estimating
  • Procurement advice and tender management
  • Contract administration and post-contract cost control
  • Managing variations, valuations, and final accounts
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships


You’ll be working on projects typically valued between £5m and £50m, and your input will directly contribute to the success and profitability of the business.


What You’ll Need

  • Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying (or equivalent practical experience)
  • MRICS or MCIOB is highly desirable
  • Experience working within a consultancy environment
  • A solid track record on projects valued between £5m–£50m
  • Excellent commercial and client-facing skills
  • Proactive approach and ability to manage workload independently
