Senior Quantity Surveyor

Summary

The Senior Quantity Surveyor will provide comprehensive commercial and contractual support across multiple projects, managing the full commercial lifecycle from initial procurement through to final account settlement. Reporting to the Commercial Manager, the role involves administering contracts under various frameworks (including NEC Fixed Price/Target Price contracts, Framework Call-off forms, and Design Orders), ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget. The postholder will be responsible for commercial administration tasks such as payment processing, managing compensation events, programme reviews, subcontractor approvals, and producing cost value reconciliations and commercial reports.

This role requires strong commercial acumen, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to interpret and apply contract terms effectively. The Senior Quantity Surveyor will liaise with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate smooth project delivery, manage risk registers, and support dispute resolution.
