A great opportunity for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join an established Civil Engineering and Groundworks contractor. Be part of a driven commercial team as they deliver civil and groundworks packages on behalf of new housing developers across Gloucestershire and the surrounding counties. Reporting to the Commercial Director you will be responsible for managing the financial governance across several project lifecycles.

Our client will also consider applications from experienced Quantity Surveyors.

As Senior Quantity Surveyor you will:

* Produce valuations, payment applications, forecast project outcomes and report on financial performance during monthly reviews.

* Manage and administer subcontract packages of work.

* Assess, price and control variations and CE’s (compensation events).

* Support in the agreement of final accounts in the closing-out of projects.

* Have a sound knowledge of Civil Engineering/ Construction methods, ideally in a new housing environment.

* Relevant qualifications in Quantity Surveying or previous experience in a similar role

* Working knowledge of standard from of contract (NEC, JCT etc).

Location: You will be based in our clients’ offices in Gloucestershire and will be required to occasionally attend sites across the county and neighbouring areas.

Hybrid working: Flexibility of remote working 1-2 days a week, depending on project needs

Working hours: Monday to Thursday 08:30 – 17:30, Friday 08:30 – 17:00

Salary band: £50,000 - £75,000 depending on experience
