Role Description
We are at an exciting point of growth and are now looking for an experienced Senior Recruitment Business Partner, taking responsibility for our global Architecture Services Line. An experienced international recruiter from the Architecture recruitment sector or a mix of agency and in‑house experience (architecture) would excel in this role! As an experienced Senior Recruitment Business Partner, you’ll bring your knowledge, expertise, and an established network of contacts from within the architecture sector in a global setting. International architecture recruitment experience is essential to this role; therefore, having exposure to talent landscapes and market knowledge from this sector, both in the UK and internationally, is required. Reporting to the Recruitment Manager for Energy & Sustainable Cities at Egis UK, you shall take full responsibility for recruitment for our global architecture staffing requirements. You shall facilitate the end‑to‑end recruitment process for both permanent and contingent hires, providing a positive candidate and hiring manager experience. We offer a hybrid working model; the role requires you to work from our London Global Studios and the London Egis office four days per week.
About The Role
Recruitment Business Partnering
Develop a deep understanding of the Egis business and the architectural service line to establish their short and long‑term staffing requirements
Build trusted partnerships with key stakeholders, including senior architect professionals and HRBPs, providing recruitment solutions to support business success
Maintain an active approach towards stakeholder engagement plans with regular staffing updates and talent pipeline activity
Understand and input into workforce planning discussions to include competitor and market knowledge, upcoming talent requirements, risks, and talent profiles (ready‑to‑go and engaged talent)
End‑to‑end recruitment delivery
Manager full‑cycle recruitment from briefing through to offer, providing key metrics and reports on a regular basis
Take responsibility for sourcing and shortlisting of candidates for several different technical roles across the architecture's international project portfolio
Design and execute tailored attraction and sourcing using various methods, including direct sourcing, LinkedIn, advertising and innovative marketing campaigns
Establish, build and maintain a database of candidates and create pipelines of engaged candidates for both permanent and contingent workforce
Support hiring managers in the creation of effective and accurate job descriptions
Manage the offer process, negotiating with candidates and liaising with the HR Teams to ensure contracts of employment are issued on time
Talent Mapping and Pipeline Development
Maintain a quality external network of key skillsets/professionals and keep them engaged for future roles, project award and support in data intelligence (salary benchmarking, etc.)
Support employer branding initiatives in collaboration with HRBP and leadership teams
Attend, where applicable, key industry events and online networks to enhance brand and talent attraction
Compliance, data and continuous improvement
Ensure compliance with company policies; ensure data integrity at all times
Use recruitment data to review performance, highlight risks, areas of improvement and support with insights into talent attraction activities
Actively contribute towards continuous improvement of the recruitment process to enhance quality and time of service delivery, plus an enhanced candidate and hiring manager experience
What do we need from you
Knowledge of the architecture recruitment market in the UK and internationally
Experience recruiting for a creative architecture firm and or agency, in an international setting
Strong project management skills – ability to manage a large volume of requisitions and ensure these are approached methodically
Strong networking capability – existing network from within the architecture sector from within the UK and internationally
Knowledge and experience in the use of resourcing technologies and social networking to build diverse talent pools and grow a database of candidates
ATS expertise, varied search and sourcing methods, LinkedIn, talent pooling and market mapping
Collaborative team player who takes initiative and ownership to work independently, seeing projects through to completion
Ability to manage expectations, pushing back and challenging where needed
Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to build strong working relationships with candidates, recruiting colleagues and employees at all levels
Strong attention to detail with the ability to work calmly under pressure
Sense of urgency and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment
Good Microsoft Excel skills would be highly advantageous but is not essential
In‑depth understanding of employment law, compliance, and recruitment best practices
Proficient in using data to drive performance and decision‑making
