Senior Recruitment Consultant – Embedded Software

Maidenhead (On-site)


Are you an experienced Recruitment Consultant ready to take ownership of a high-performing desk in a specialist technical market?


At microTECH Global, we’re looking for a Senior Recruitment Consultant to join our growing Embedded Software division, working with cutting-edge technology clients across the UK and Europe.


This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a warm desk with existing clients, live roles, and an active candidate network—while still having the autonomy to grow your own business and maximise your earnings.


What You’ll Be Doing

  • Manage and grow relationships with established clients
  • Deliver high-quality candidates into live vacancies across the UK & Europe
  • Source and engage top talent in niche technical markets
  • Own the full recruitment lifecycle—from brief to placement
  • Negotiate offers, manage counter-offers, and close deals
  • Identify and win new business opportunities when required
  • Build a strong network and reputation within your market


Your Market - You’ll recruit across a range of highly technical roles, including:

  • Embedded Software Engineers (C, C++, Embedded Linux, RTOS, ARM)
  • Technologies spanning DSP, Audio/Video, Streaming, IPTV, and more
  • Connectivity: WiFi, ZigBee, RFID, and next-gen wireless tech


What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience in recruitment (ideally tech or engineering)
  • A strong billing track record or clear delivery success
  • Confidence managing clients and candidates end-to-end
  • Commercial mindset with the drive to grow your desk
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
