A renowned luxury retailer is seeking a Senior Regulatory Legal Counsel to support on a 6-month cover. Reporting into the Legal & Compliance team, this role offers a unique chance to contribute to a consumer-focused business at the forefront of sustainability, digital innovation, and product excellence. Hybrid working, London. £80-85,000 per annum The role:
Provide strategic legal and regulatory advice across the business. Advising on a broad range of regulatory issues, including consumer protection, product and digital compliance, and sustainability frameworks. Partner closely with business stakeholders to ensure our practices meet evolving UK and international regulatory standards. Help shape and uphold our compliance framework, while supporting safe, responsible product development and marketing. Support internal training, risk assessments, and policy development in your area of expertise.
Ideal candidate:
Qualified lawyer with 4+ years PQE in-house experience within a consumer-focused business. Strong working knowledge of consumer and regulatory law. Experience in compliance, product safety, and regulatory frameworks is highly desirable. A proactive mindset, with the willingness to learn, adapt, and contribute beyond your traditional legal remit. Collaborative team player with excellent communication and commercial awareness.
