Senior Childrens Residential Support Worker
Location: Radcliffe, M26
Salary: £32,000 per annum
Hours: Full-time (including sleep-ins non-contractual)
We are currently recruiting a Senior Childrens Residential Support Worker to join a passionate and dedicated team at a new 3-bed residential service in Radcliffe. The service supports mixed-gender young people aged 1017 with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD). There are currently 2 young people placed in the home.
As a Senior Residential Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting vulnerable young people through their challenges, providing stability, guidance, and positive role modelling to help them achieve better outcomes in life.
Key Responsibilities
Support and safeguard children and young people in line with care plans
Act as a role model and provide leadership to the staff team on shift
Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
Maintain professional boundaries and uphold safeguarding standards
Contribute to a safe, nurturing, and structured home environment
Requirements
Previous experience as a Senior Residential Support Worker or Team Leader
A genuine passion for working with children and young people
Strong understanding of safeguarding and professional boundaries
Level 3 or Level 4 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or working towards)
Must be aged 22 or over (to meet Ofsted regulations)
Full UK driving licence
